Purposely Social, Inc. ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application, Purposely Social, (the "App").

 

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, do not download, register with, or use this App.

b. Contacts: With your permission, we access and collect information from your device's contact list.

c. Calendar Events: With your permission, we access and collect information about your calendar events.

d. Usage Data: We automatically collect information on how you interact with our App, including app features you use and time spent on the App.

e. Device Information: We collect information about your mobile device and internet connection, including the device's unique device identifier, IP address, operating system, browser type, and mobile network information.

4. Data Retention

We will retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies. Data of customers who delete their account will be deleted 30 days after account deletion.

 

5. Transfer of Data

Your information, including personal data, may be transferred to, and maintained on, computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction. If you are located outside the United States and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including personal data, to the United States and process it there.

We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. However, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat our security measures or use your personal information for improper purposes.

Purposely Social, Inc. aims to take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete, or limit the use of your personal information. a. The right to access, update or to delete the information we have on you.

d. The right of restriction.

f. The right to withdraw consent.

8. Your Rights Under CCPA

 

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

 

a. The right to know about the personal information we collect about you and how it is used and shared.

b. The right to delete personal information collected from you (with some exceptions).

c. The right to opt-out of the sale of your personal information.

d. The right to non-discrimination for exercising your CCPA rights.

8. Children's Privacy

Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at support@purposelysocial.com.

 

9. Account Deletion Requests

When you request to delete your account, we take your privacy and data security seriously. Upon receiving your request, we will begin the process of permanently deleting your personal data from our systems.

 

 

  1. Data Retention Period: From the date we receive your delete account request, we will retain your personal data for a period of 30 days. This retention period allows us to ensure that all necessary administrative processes are completed and provides an opportunity for you to retract your request if made in error.

  2. Permanent Deletion: After the 30-day retention period, your personal data will be permanently deleted from our active databases and backups. This means that all identifiable information associated with your account will be removed, and you will no longer be able to access any data or services related to your account.

  3. Exceptions: Certain data may be retained beyond the 30-day period if required by law or if there are legitimate business interests, such as resolving disputes, enforcing our agreements, or complying with legal obligations. In such cases, the data will be retained only for the duration necessary to fulfill those purposes.

  4. Confirmation of Deletion: Upon successful deletion of your data, you will receive a confirmation notice. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the deletion process or the status of your request, please contact our support team.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
